After spending 7 months here in Mexico we have decided to bash up to San Diego for the months of August, September and October. We decided to do this to escape the heat and to restock the boat and do a few more boat chores. We could have gone north up into the Sea of Cortez for the HOT, HOT, HOT months but since we have never done the bash before it seems like a good idea. We have been watching the weather windows and feel that Sunday will be the day to leave. On Friday we will go down to Cabo San Lucas and spend two nights and take off first thing on Sunday morning. Needless to say we are both a little nervous about this trip as we will be going against the wind and waves. But Liebling is a sturdy blue water cruiser and I know that she will do just fine.
