THE DAY HAS ARRIVED!!!!

We are now in the final preparations for leaving. Needless to say it has been a little hectic, but no matter what we will be leaving on Wednesday morning. Cutting the docking lines is scary, exciting and overwhelming. It has been a long journey and as the day dawns we are looking at the the westerlies winds until we turn the corner and head south. We will figure it out as we go. I think that the we will stay with 50-60 miles out.

It has been a bitter sweet goodbye with all our great boat friends and of course the family. I want to thank all our friends and family that made this all possible with their encouragement and love. As we cut the dock lines and set out on this great adventure I think of everyone who has made this possible. I will post another blog after we leave. Bon Voyage I love you
