Happy New Year!!
We have arrived and been in PV for the last 4 days. Dave and Cindy are with us and we are having a great time. When we left San Jose del Cabo for Los Frailles the wind was blowing at 20 kts from the NW so we made an executive decision that we would just head south to Puerto Vallarta. It took 48 hours to get here and the first night it was very bumpy and not very pleasant. Needless to say none of us got any sleep with the wind blowing at 20-25 kts and the swells at 6-10 feet. One of the things that we did find on the morning after our run from San Jose del Cablo when Jim went out on deck we had flying fish and squid all over the deck. Liebling could take it but the rest of us were very glad when the next day the seas and wind calmed down and we had a great run the rest of way to PV. We are now anchored out of La Cruz in Banderas Bay just north of the city of Puerto Vallarta. We are at a the marina and it is nice to have power and fresh water to clean the boat with. We will move on south in the next few days. More later....
